The Sonova font for Aural Sonology

After a decade in the making Lasse Thoresen’s seminal book “Emergent Musical Forms – Aural Explorations” was published in November 2015 and Aural Sonology got its own dedicated site at auralsonology.com coinciding with the book’s publication. There are a lot of videos of analyzed music there, mostly made using the Sonova font with the Acousmographe and iAnalyse.

The Acousmographe is not working on 64-bit systems

The Acousmographe only works on 32-bit architectures, so will not work on macOS Catalina or newer systems released since 2019. At the time of writing there are no news about when a release for 64-bit architectures or M1 macs will be available.
